Book: Shiny Broken Pieces by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton

Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ 1/2

Pros: diverse, fast-paced & suspenseful, beautiful attention to the details of ballet

Cons: untied loose ends, ending left me wanting more

Become best friends forever/punch in the face/kiss on the mouth:

  • Become Best Friends Forever: Riho (She knits, a girl after my own crafty heart! And she’s like the only one who didn’t try to kill anyone or anything else)
  • Punch in the Face: Cassie (Because she deserves it)
  • Kiss on the Mouth: Jayhe (Because he tries SO hard for June)

Describe this Book in 3 Words: Darkly irresistible delight

ONE sentence to convince a total stranger to read/not read this book: If you haven’t read the Tiny Pretty Things series, then you are seriously missing out on this beautifully written, but kind of messed up series about ballet, revenge, passion and friendship.

Have you read Tiny Pretty Things and/or Shiny Broken Pieces yet? What did you think?

And what do you think of the Micro-Review Monday format?
